When you are aligned with your spirituality your days will seem much brighter and your life will be much better (at least for me anyway.)
Sometimes life can get in the way and we get super focused on everything but our spirituality (at least I know this happens for me.)
There are times that I feel super aligned with my spirituality and then other times I feel so distant from God and that’s when I know it’s time for me to realign my spirituality.
Here are 5 things that I do to keep me spiritually aligned. If you are feeling out of alignment with your spirituality, then try this 5 things:
1. Start your day with God.
Every morning, the first thing I do is pray and say my goals and affirmations (which we will talk about this next.) I can tell a big difference if I wake up in a rush and don’t start with praying to God and thanking him for everything. This time with God is not long but it’s precious.
2. Say faith based affirmations throughout the day.
I have certain affirmations that I say every morning and also throughout the day to help me get through my daily struggles.
For example. If I am stressing out or feeling weak I say “You are here through the darkness, through the tears, and through the weakness. You are my strength, Oh Lord.” And it helps remind me that God is my strength and he is always here.
You can write down Faith based affirmations for different struggles and read them to yourself when you need to. This really helps to remind yourself that God is with you at all times.
3. Go To Church
I can tell a huge difference in my life and my spirituality when I haven’t been to church in a few weeks. Going to Church every Sunday re-lights my fire for the whole week. That moment of being present in Church and feeling the Holy Spirit all over that place is unlike anything else.
4. Do Faith Based Personal Development.
I never even knew that this mattered until I start doing it and then stopped. Everyday I do personal development. I usually listen to a podcast because it is more convenient and I can multi task. I found this amazing Faith Based Entrepreneur that I listen to (her podcast is the Mompreneur Mastermind Show if you want to go check it out 😊) and I fell in love with her podcast.
When I started listening to an audible book everyday and not listening to her podcast I noticed a huge difference. Now I listen to a Faith Based podcast almost every day. It helps set my day off right and keeps God in the forefront of my mind in whatever I’m doing (which is where he should be.)
5. Listening to Christian Music.
I love music. When I am doing my makeup, getting work done, taking a walk, or driving in the car I always have to listen to music. I used to just out in a playlist of the hit pop songs and I would listen to Christian music if I was having a really off day.
Although, I noticed that when I listen to Christian music throughout the day it helps me feel fully aligned with my spirituality and has actually helped calm my anxiety sooo much.
Those are the 5 things that help keep me spiritually aligned.
Now you don’t have to do all of these things, but these are just the things that I do to help me get spiritually realigned. When you are aligned with your spirituality your days will seem much brighter and your life will be much better (at least for me anyway.)
