Why Should We Rejoice in Our Sufferings? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 11 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 11 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 79 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 11 Scripture:

“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;" -Romans 5:3

Day 11 Devotional:

"We should rejoice in the Lord always. Even in tough times, it's important to be thankful and rejoice in the Lord. The Lord is always right here with us and He will always come through for us in His perfect timing. Through our trials and tribulations, the Lord is preparing us for all the amazing and not-so-amazing things ahead. We all face hardships, it is how we handle them that matters. So choose to rejoice today and every day, no matter the circumstances."

This devotional really speaks to me today. There are some things that I'm going through right now, but this scripture right here reminds me, and it can remind both of us, that we have to rejoice also in our sufferings. We can't just rejoice when everything is going great in our lives, but we have to always give that thanks and praise to God in our sufferings and hard times. There are so many things that God has done for us that we don't even realize and that He is doing right now for us in our sufferings. We can only see where we are at right now, but God already sees us on the other side and He is already preparing a way for us to get there. We have to make sure that we are rejoicing, leaning on Him, asking Him for guidance and to open up our hearts to really listen to what He wants us to do, and being thankful through every aspect of our lives.

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord, help me to see the good in every aspect of my life and to rejoice in You always. My hope is in You alone and I am beyond grateful for all that You are doing in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" -Psalm 118:24

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day twelve, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.
