Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 19 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 19 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 71 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 19 Scripture:

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6

Day 19 Devotional:

"This verse says it all. You can't truly know God the Father if you don't know and believe in Jesus Christ. The only way to be saved, have the Holy Spirit in you, and have eternal life in heaven is through Jesus Christ. There is no other way but through Jesus. This is why it is so important for us, as believers of Jesus Christ, to spread the gospel and the truth of God's words. There are a lot of people in this world that need the truth and for us to shed some light and let them know about our Savior, so that they may be saved by Jesus and go to heaven also when it is their time to go."

We have to make sure that we are letting people know about Jesus, because there are people in this world that have never heard about Jesus. We would be doing a disservice to not spread the gospel to as many people as we possibly could so that they may know about Jesus, believe in Him, and be saved also.

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Jesus, I know that the only way to eternal life in heaven is through You. Please help me to have the courage to be a light to others and spread the gospel so that they may be saved by You and go to heaven also. Thank You Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins, forgiving me, and giving me eternal life. It's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

How do I have eternal life in heaven?

Based on scripture, how can someone know God the Father?

What are some ways that I can spread love, light, and the gospel?

"Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." -John 17:3
