The Importance of Being Devoted to Prayer. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 24 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 24 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 66 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 24 Scripture:

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." -Colossians 4:2

Day 24 Devotional:

"Prayer is a vital part of having a relationship with God. Just like any relationship in life, communication is a big part of maintaining a healthy one. This also applies to your relationship with our Heavenly Father. For us to be able to stand firm in our faith and not be conformed to this world we have to dedicate ourselves to prayer and have unnegotiable time to talk with God. It's also very important to express gratitude to God for everything that He has done for us, which is more than we can even fathom. Dedicate some time today to pray, talk with God, and allow Him to speak truth over your life."

So just like we went over in day 1 of this journal about praying continually and that prayer is a vital part of these next 90 days but really of every day of our lives as Christians, we have to make sure that we are keeping that constant communication with God. Staying in constant communication with God is going to help us to maintain a healthy relationship with Him and be able to let the Holy Spirit guide us and do the things that God calls us to do. I know your life may be busy and you may not have a lot of time to do much of anything, but if you really reflect and think about the time you spend scrolling social media or watching Netflix or YouTube, you will probably realize that you do have time in your daily life to spend with the LORD. Even if you just have 15 minutes to spend with God unnegotiable.

I am so proud of you for coming on here each day and doing these journal entries. By doing this, you are deciding to take time out of your day to spend with God and do these journal entries. I know that if you just continue to stay consistent with this journal you will see transformation from Jesus Christ if you are allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you and you are taking the time to spend with God. It's so important not only during this time of doing these devotionals, but also throughout the day just having those conversations with God and staying in that open communication with Him.

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for everything that You have done for me. You are so amazing and I am beyond grateful for You. Please speak Your truth over my life today and open up my eyes to see that truth. I am here and I seek to be fully submitted to Your will every single day. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

-Romans 12:12

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 25, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
