In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 72 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 18 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.
Day 72 Scripture:
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
-Psalm 73:26
Day 72 Devotional:
"We as mere humans are going to face hardships and many temptations. We all make mistakes and fall short of the glory of God. God gives us strength in times when we feel weak or tempted. We just have to reach out to Him for that strength. Everything that we have and everything that we need comes from God. It's important to consistently seek a relationship with Christ and lean on Him always, especially when we feel weak. God is more than enough for us and it's important for us to recognize that and prioritize Him before anything else. When we put God first at all times and let the Holy Spirit guide us, we will be less likely to fall into temptation because God gives us the strength to stand up under it."
I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:
So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.
Today’s Prayer:
"Lord, thank You for always giving me strength in times when I am weak. Thank You for guiding me and helping me stand up under temptation. You are more than enough for me Lord and I am so grateful for You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Today's journal question:
Where does my strength come from?
Take some time to journal and reflect
"O my strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God." -Psalm 59:17
So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 73, so make sure you stay tuned for that.
I love you guys so much.
Never forget to choose faith over fear.
