Day 5- God's Grace is Overflowing!!!

Miracle after miracle kept happening. It was the most insane and amazing thing I've ever experienced.

Yesterday was the most magical day! As soon as I walked into church I got an overwhelming sense of the Holy Spirit. My dad had came and was sitting beside me (that in it's self is a miracle because I honestly don't even remember the last time he showed up for church) I started bawling just listening to the first song. All the words were speaking straight to my heart and into the core of my soul. As the songs continued the tears did also. It didn't help that I could hear my dad sobbing beside me which made me even more emotional because I knew he was being touched by the Holy Spirit too.

It was almost time for the baptisms.... Our church had a goal to hit 600 baptisms this year. The preacher reminded us of our goal of 600 and was speaking about the baptisms that had happened in the earlier service which ended at number 592. He went on to say that there were 8 people waiting to be baptized at that moment (my nephew being one of them.) I whispered in my mom's ear "I hope Noah is number 600." I just thought that would be so cool.

The second person to get baptized was a guy that I had been hearing about for months when I was going to my Sunday Bible School Class. The Sunday School teacher kept talking about this big biker man that would sit at the same bench everyday at the mall when her and her husband would go there to get their exercise in. Throughout these months her and her husband really got to know this man. They brought him a Christmas gift and he was so excited because he said no one had ever done anything like that for him before. They would try to talk to him about God but he just wasn't having it so they just continued to get to know him and shower him with love. It's been a little while since I've been to bible school (which I'm not proud of because I absolutely love that class) and it was the craziest thing seeing that he was was being baptized!!! That just goes to show the power of God's grace.

”Before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous Grace.” Galatians 1:15

The baptisms were happening and each time someone came in I would try to look at the line to see if my nephew was next. I never saw him. Then came baptism number 600 and guess who it was?!?! Yep... IT WAS MY NEPHEW!!!! We were all shouting and so happy for him to be baptized. After he got baptized our preacher said "Noah, I've been praying for you.... all year long. Because I've been praying for number 600." I'll insert the video of the baptism so you can see how awesome it was! :)

After the baptisms they had an alter call (which we never do until the end of the sermon). I can't even remember the last time I saw that many people praying at the alter all at once, it was truly a blessing.

The schedule ended up going out the window for this service, which I loved. We had a lot of worship, a little sermon, and three more people ended up getting baptized before we left!!!! Several people also got saved. Miracle after miracle kept happening. It was the most insane and amazing thing I've ever experienced.

My fire was re lit for months to come just from yesterday. It will definitely be a day that many people will never forget, myself included. I'm telling you guys I had goosebumps almost the entire service. I could feel the Holy Spirit all around that place. I could go on and on about all the amazing things that happened within that hour and a half and all of the emotions but I'm just going to leave it at this- God's Grace was Overflowing!!!!!

Quick update on my what I ate yesterday: I stayed on track with my healthy eating for the most part except for having movie theater popcorn last night at the drive in. Although I did eat way less of the popcorn than I normally do, so I still consider that a win!!

Before you go I am going to leave you with this prayer... I pray that God's grace overflows in your life. I pray that you open your mind and your heart to all of the miracles that God is performing and will continue to perform in your life and in the life of others around you. I pray that you feel the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit with you at all times and listen to his voice as he guides you through this week and in every aspect of your life. In Jesus name, Amen.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
