Now I can enjoy meals throughout the day and not get super stuffed and be in a food coma at night.
Over the past few weeks I have been trying different ways to help me from over eating.
Before I started this weightloss journey, I would not eat until around 5 at night and eat a huge dinner and a lot of snacks at night. I realize that was very unhealthy and that is one big reason why I kept gaining weight.
Here are 3 ways that have helped me to avoid overeating over the past few weeks:
1. Drinking water with food.
When you drink water with food it helps you get full faster and not eat as much. I usually drink at least a bottle of water with each meal. It helps me to get full quicker and stay full for a couple of hours.
2. Eat small meals and snacks throughout the day.
Eating small meals and snacks throughout the day helps with overeating because it helps you stay satisfied and not starving throughout the day. If you wait until dinner to eat or wait several hours between meals, more than likely you will be very hungry and over eat (that is what I used to do.)
3. Eat slowly.
When you eat slowly it gives your stomach time to tell your mind that you are full which ends up making you eat less. If you eat really fast then you will end up eating more and feel really full after.
If you have been struggling with overeating; try these 3 ways and let me know if they’ve helped you. I hope they help you like they’ve helped me.
