Detoxing from social media is necessary to do occasionally to get your health and sanity back.
This weekend I am detoxing from social media. I’ve deleted the apps and I am spending all weekend focusing on self care and my family. But why?!?....
For most of us, social media is a big part of our lives (especially for network marketers like myself.) So much so that it becomes a habit to constantly check it and we don’t even realize how much time we spend on it. I catch myself frequently going to the same spot where my Facebook app was to click on it when I’ve deleted the app for a detox.
Detoxing from social media is necessary to do occasionally to get your health and sanity back. I always feel so much better and ready for the week ahead when I take a weekend off of social media.
If you’re constantly on social media and haven’t ever done a detox from it, I recommend trying it. It’s definitely hard at first and you’ll more than likely catch yourself trying to click on the app a few times but you’ll feel so refreshed after you‘ve done it.
Comment below and let me know if you’ve done a social media detox before or if you are going to now after reading this. I’d like to know 😊
Before you go I will leave you with this prayer... I pray that you have had a relaxing weekend taking care of yourself and spending time with loved ones. I pray that you will be refreshed and ready for whatever next week has in store for you. In Jesus name, Amen.
Never forget to choose faith over fear.
