This is so insane even to say but...... 2019 IS ALMOST OVER!!!!
I've had a year full of tears (joyful and not so joyful tears), wins, and losses.
Honestly, 2019's mental and spiritual transformation for me has been by far the biggest transformation that I've had.
There are so many things that have happened this year and so many realizations that I've had.... it's so crazy to think about.
Okay, so first off let's think about some goals that we set for 2019. Pull out your planner or whatever you wrote your goals down on and let's reflect for a moment.
Here are some goals that I set for 2019:
1. To make $100,000 by May 13, 2019.
2. To lose 100 pounds by Jan 3, 2020.
3. Take a vacation by November 8
4. Complete my Personal Branding Course by June 24.
Man did I miss some of those goals..... by a long shot.
I started 2019 with these insane expectations of how I wanted my life to be and now the vision that I have for my life is so different than I ever imagined it to be.
So let's talk about some Losses that I had in 2019:
Well, I definitely didn't hit my goals of making $100,000 or losing 100 pounds and you know what?
I'm totally okay with it because the wins that I've experienced are far greater than the losses.
So what are some wins that I've experienced in 2019?
I did complete my personal branding course and take that vacation, which is great but not what I consider to be my biggest wins.
My biggest wins for 2019 were:
1. Having a stronger relationship with God than ever before
2. Taking a leap of faith and doing what I've been called to do (start a Podcast)
3. Motivating and Inspiring Hundreds of Women
My biggest takeaway from 2019:
I've realized this year that the things that I used to strive for are no longer important to me anymore. The most important things to me are my faith, family, and inspiring all of you guys.
So I do have a little homework for you...
If you haven't already:
1. Take a look at the goals that you set for 2019
2. Reflect and evaluate.
- Which goals did you accomplish?
- Which goals did you miss?
- Are those goals still important to you?
- What are your biggest wins this year? (Your wins can be completely different from the goals you set.)
3. What is your biggest takeaway from 2019?
Once you finish your homework, make sure and come back on Monday, December 30th so we can set expectations for 2020 to have the best year yet.
Before I let you go I will leave you with this prayer... I'm praying for you girl that you have peace in everything that you accomplished or didn't accomplish in 2019. I pray that you continue to grow and transform and that you always let guide lead and direct you in every aspect of your life. I pray that you give your all to God and that you let go of all the materialistic goals and plans that you had set for your life. I pray that you open up your heart and soul to the plans that God has for you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Never forget to choose faith over fear.
